Counseling and therapy are professional mental health services that help individuals navigate emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. They provide a safe space to talk, process feelings, and develop coping strategies.
Counselling - focuses on specific issues, offering guidance and solutions for immediate concerns like stress, relationship problems, life transitions, etc. It involves educating clients and relatives regarding their challenges and helping them overcome it.
Therapy (also called psychotherapy) - is a deeper process that explores long-term emotional patterns, mental health conditions, and personal growth. Here the client and their support systems are actively involved in the problem solving which is guided and promoted by the therapist.
